Who
are we?
We are three Lithuanians—Tomas Jenkelevič, Eduardas Pontežis, and Antanas Čeponis — who have been on the ground in Ukraine since the full-scale invasion began. With every visit, we bring humanitarian aid to those who need it most. But our mission goes beyond just delivering supplies.
We capture the resilience and spirit of the Ukrainian people through videos and photos, showing the world what life is really like in the midst of war. This work is driven by our commitment and funded entirely by us. We are not journalists or professional filmmakers—just ordinary people determined to make a difference.

A glimpse of reality
The short documentary, filmed during our first trip to Ukraine, has won the "#MyImpact" competition. It captures the stories of the people we met while delivering humanitarian aid, highlighting the resilience and challenges faced by those affected by the war.

A glimpse of reality 2
The second part of the documentary delves into the lives of four women, sharing their stories of survival under occupation in Mariupol and Mykolaiv. Through their voices, the film captures the profound challenges they faced and their unyielding resilience in the face of war.

Photo exhibition
The photo exhibition takes you on a journey from Lviv to Kharkiv, showing the people and how their cities look now, including buildings shattered by bombs. Each photo tells a story of survival, hope, and strength. You’ll see how their lives have changed and feel their emotions as they share their experiences. This exhibition invites you to connect with the emotions and experiences of those whose lives have been forever changed.

The premiere of our second short documentary at MO Museum was an unforgettable experience. The event brought together over 200 people, creating an atmosphere filled with emotion and reflection. It was a moment of connection, understanding, and shared humanity.

Documentary &
Dialogue School Series
Over the past months, Ukraine: A Glimpse of Reality has been presented in more than 10 schools across Lithuania, reaching hundreds of students. Each visit created an open and engaging space where young people could connect with authentic stories of Ukrainians living through the realities of war.
These screenings go far beyond simply watching a film — they become a platform for dialogue, empathy, and reflection. After each viewing, students take part in meaningful discussions, exploring themes of resilience, peace, and the human cost of conflict. The conversations often lead to personal reflections on freedom, compassion, and the role of each individual in building a more humane world.
Through these visits, we continue our mission to raise awareness, foster critical thinking, and inspire young people to take action — to volunteer, support others in need, and become active contributors to a more caring and peaceful society.

Vilnius prison movie sessions
In an extraordinary setting far from traditional venues, Ukraine: A Glimpse of Reality was screened inside Vilnius Prison, followed by an open discussion with inmates. Bringing the stories of resilience and humanity from Ukraine into this environment was both challenging and deeply meaningful. The screening opened space for reflection – about freedom, loss, and the universal strength of the human spirit.
While the emotional atmosphere made the event one of the most demanding we have ever organized, it also proved to be one of the most impactful. The discussion that followed showed how storytelling can reach even the most unexpected audiences, inspiring dialogue, understanding, and compassion.
This special events were part of our ongoing mission to use documentary storytelling as a tool for connection and awareness – reminding us that even in the most closed spaces, humanity and empathy can find their way in.
International
movie screenings
We are honored to present our work not only in Lithuania but also internationally – through film screenings hosted in Poland, Cyprus, Türkiye, Moldova, and Georgia. Each event brings together local communities and international audiences to witness the resilience, courage, and human stories captured through our lens.
