On 19 March 2018, Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) organized a simulation game, withint the framework of the Jean Monnet Network on EU-UN Relations. Participants, both undergraduate and postgraduate students of the Department of International and European Economic Relations, had the opportunity to reenact a special session of the European Council, which focused on the migration/refugee crisis. Actors involved EU member-states as well as representatives of the EU institutions. The game was run in accordance to the Rules of Procedure of the European Council (2009). The simulation game was coordinated by Associate Professor Spyros Blavoukos.
